Barewalls was founded in Montreal, Canada in 1996. At the time of launch in 1997, Barewalls was "the first company to capitalize on the tremendous potential of selling art prints and posters online". By 2002 it was serving 10 million page views per month for 1 million monthly users. In 2005 the website was acquired and the company was subsequently moved to Missouri. In July 2015, the website was acquired and moved to Waukesha, Wisconsin.
We offer online retail of products in the areas of fine art, photography, movie posters, and vintage advertising. Our artwork is made up from a collection of thousands of individual artists. We have expanded beyond paper prints to include framed, canvas, acrylic, and many other high-quality products.
